"I no longer chase attention, love, or respect. I don't want to be part of someone's life just because they think they have to keep me around. I want to be there because they sincerely choose me.

If I have to prove my worth, beg for attention, or convince someone to care about me, then I know I'm not in the right place.

Life is too short to keep pouring my energy into people and situations that give me nothing in return. Getting older doesn't scare me. What scares me is losing myself just to make others happy.

So, today, I choose peace. I choose people who recognize my worth without me having to demand it. And above all, I choose to stay true to myself."
