Bhavani Jamakkalam is a traditional, durable, handwoven cotton carpet or rug from Bhavani, Tamil Nadu, recognized for its vibrant, bold stripes and reversible design. Often used as mats for sitting, dining (Panthi Pai), or in prayer rooms, these rugs are made with thick, durable threads and, in 2005–06, were awarded a Geographical Indication tag for their unique craftsmanship.
